Adam Schiff Called Trump As “The worst President In Modern History”
These days President Trump is attacked by the Democrats over his efforts to undermine ObamaCare. Trump signed an executive order which allows small businesses band together across state lines to buy cheaper, less regulated health plans for their employees with fewer benefits.
“With these actions, we are moving toward lower costs and more options in the health care market, and taking crucial steps toward saving the American people from the nightmare of Obamacare,” the President said.
“This is going to be something that millions and millions of people will be signing up for,” noted Trump, “and they’re going to be very happy. This will be great health care.”
Trump’s executive order to undermine ObamaCare was immediately opposed by the Left. California Democrat Adam Schiff slammed President Trump of trying to break the Affordable Care Act out of spite. After the President announced that he would roll back Obamacare “piece by piece,” Schiff called Trump as “the worst President in modern history.”
“Latest reason why President Trump is the worst President in modern history: Deliberately undermining people’s health care out of spite,” Schiff wrote on Twitter.
After President Trump signed the executive order, the White House announced that they plan to end insurance subsidies under Obamacare that help low-income people pay for out-of-pocket costs.
“The government cannot lawfully make the cost-sharing reduction payments,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement, citing guidance from the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services.
“Obamacare is a broken mess. Piece by piece we will now begin the process of giving America the great HealthCare it deserves!,” Trump tweeted.
Like everything else, it was expected that Trump’s order would be immediately slammed by his opponents. Do you support Trump’s decision to end ObamaCare? Share this post on Facebook and Twitter along with your comments.
