Secret Service Questions Kathy Griffin For Over An HOUR
Disgraced comedian Kathy Griffin was finally questioned by the Secret Service this week over her distasteful photo in which she held a bloody, decapitated replica head of President Donald Trump. The photo stunt was heavily criticized by Americans on all sides of the political spectrum. Griffin first defended her photo as “art”, and later claimed it was merely a joke until fervent backlash induced Griffin to apologize for the grotesque photo.
Young Conservatives reported that Griffin was questioned by agents for over an hour. Her defense lawyer said that Griffin simply “exercised her first amendment right to tell a joke.”
“When you look at everything in the media, all the times entertainers make videos or express themselves in other ways, you’ve never seen an entertainer, let alone a comedian, be subject to a criminal investigation,” the attorney said.
Officials say that Griffin will likely not be arrested or charged for the photo. Instead, officials will probably decide that the photo was “crude political hyperbole” as opposed to an actual incitement of violence.
