Black Pastor Demands We Erase 2 Names From American History, Then Facebook Explodes

Thanks to the Charlottesville incident, leftists are cranking the crazy up to extreme levels, seizing the opportunity to push the nation further to the Left.

With all things Confederate under attack, conservatives are deathly afraid to open their mouths, as they’ll be instantly labeled a Nazi or white supremacist.

On the flip side, the Left is keenly aware of this, considering they’re the ones enforcing the severe punishments on anyone who speaks up.

Because of this, they’re starting to push their luck, aiming to erase far more than the Confederacy from the history books. The slippery slope is all too real, not matter how often leftists claim otherwise.

Now they’re talking about banning the names of some of America history’s most important and influential figures, and this includes the first president of the United States.

As reported at Dennis Michael Lynch, a Chicago pastor has had enough of white supremacy, so much so that he thinks it’s time to change the names of two of the city parks named after former presidents.

Why? Because the presidents in question owned slaves.

Bishop James Dukes, pastor of the Liberation Christian Center, posted a copy of a letter on his Facebook page Tuesday evening which he said he sent to Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the Chicago Park District, calling on them to change the names of Washington and Jackson parks.

“Slave owners do not deserve the honor of our children playing in parks named after them.

There is no way a Native American Community would allow a General Custer Park or a Jewish Community allow a Gestapo Park in their community,” Dukes declared.

During an interview with local CBS News, Dukes said the parks could be named after African American heroes instead, such as Harold Washington, Jesse Jackson and Michael Jackson.

Okay, okay, come on, is this guy serious or is he having a laugh? Jesse Jackson, the preeminent race-baiter, and Michael Jackson!? No wonder the black community in Chicago is such disarray.

A black pastor, a person that should be a leader and example for the community, is putting people like these on a hero pedestal. Worse, he’s putting them on an even footing with George Washington.

The crazy thing is this: what Dukes wants will probably come to pass. Recently, some schools in Oregon removed the word “Lynch” from their names due to “racial implications.”

This, despite the fact that the reason “Lynch” was in their names was because the schools were named after the Lynch family.

As for Dukes’ post on Facebook, here are some of the replies:

One reader asked:

“How about doing away with the Democratic Party. They were the ones who wanted slavery to continue.“

Dukes responded:

“No, I will be content just doing away with the murdering, kidnapping, raping and torturing presidents Washington and Jackson [t]hat owned and sold my ancestors. that would be just fine.”

Another reader suggested he focus on abortion instead.

“Hey, I have an idea Pastor…..why don’t you stop the aborting, and murder of your own people by your own people first?

It’s just a statute, everyday black babies are murdered in abortion clinics and the church sits silent. Do something that really matters.”

To that, the pastor had no rebuttal.

It’s amazing how disconnected from reality these liberals are, how they conveniently get outraged over one issue while ignore another.

The guy’s hung up on Washington’s supposed raping and murdering of slaves, yet he doesn’t call out the fact that despite making up about 14 percent of the population, blacks account for 32 percent of all abortions.

Nor does he utter a word about the slaughter of blacks by blacks on streets of Chicago. No, what’s more important to to this guy is name of a park, not the lives of his brothers and sisters.
